My Project
In my engineering classroom, students use Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software to bring their ideas to life through 3D modeling. This hands-on work helps them develop real-world skills, but it also requires high focus and precision.
To support their learning, I guide students through video tutorials and walkthroughs that explain complex design techniques step by step.
Without headphones, it’s tough for them to hear and stay focused in a busy classroom environment. Using a laptop trackpad for CAD work makes it harder to design accurately. However, a mouse is essential for better control.
This project will also provide storage bins and labels so we can keep everything organized. Students can quickly find what they need by assigning equipment, having clearly labeled storage, and taking responsibility for returning items after use. It’ll help us create a more efficient and respectful classroom space.
These tools may seem small, but they’ll significantly impact how my students learn, stay engaged, and build confidence in their design skills. Thank you for helping me give them the resources they need to succeed.
