This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Many of the students I serve come from underprivileged homes. Which means, many times, dental care can fall on the wayside. I am requesting new toothbrushes, full size toothpaste, mouthwash, a pack of children's flossers, 2 min sand times, and a pouch to put everything in. Dental care is not only important for their health but for their overall confidence. Dental health can impact attendance which will create a domino effect in learning. Many absences can be attributed to dental issues.

Healthy, clean teeth not only promote great smiles but overall great health as well.
