This project will help provide some basic hygiene needs for a population of people, adolescent hormonal teens and preteens, that are in the habit of forgetting or not able to afford the needs at home. Middle schoolers are notorious for forgetting or misplacing things they need, it's part of their navigation of life and learning.
The stress of forgetting a pad or not remembering to put on deodorant on a gym day can really throw off a middle schoolers day and this project will help mitigate this by providing the basic hygiene needs here at school.
Whether it is because they were just forgetful or because the family could afford it this month, those needs shouldn't be out of reach. Learning happens when students feel safe and supported. Learning happens when basic needs are met at home or at school. Help me get these items to fill those basic needs and allow learning to happen.
