Healthy Tech, Focused Minds: Enhancing Physical Wellness and Attention

Help me give my students technological supports to improve focus and physical health with laptop stands and ergomically designed keyboard/mice combos, blue light glasses, and noise limiting headphones.

My Project

As digital work and learning continue to grow, I've noticed a real need to address the physical strain and distractions that come with spending long hours at a computer. Poor posture, eye strain, and constant background noise can seriously impact both health and focus. This project is designed to tackle those issues with practical, tech-based solutions.

With grant support, I plan to provide supports to adjust workstations with adjustable

Adjustable laptop stands allow for proper screen height and improved posture. Ergonic keyboard and mouse combos reduce strain on hands and wrists. The blue-light filtering glasses will help reduce with eye fatigue and headaches associated by blue light. The headphones are noise-limiting to help create quieter, more focused work environment given the classroom is located next to the music room.

These simple but effective tools can make a big difference in how students feel and perform day to day. By improving physical comfort and cutting down on distractions, I hope to create a healthier, more focused environment that supports both physical well-being and productivity.
