This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are a wonderful bunch who are eager to learn and put forth great effort in class with the materials we currently have. I work with a large culturally and linguistically diverse group of learners, which include primary grade levels. I work with students who have autism, emotional disturbance, students with specific learning disabilities, and speech-language impairments. My students attend an elementary school where close to 70% of our students are English Language Learners and 90% of our students receive free or reduced-price lunch.
My Project
I noticed that many of my students are having a hard time sitting still during our class. They tend to rock in their chairs or fall out of their chairs from sitting incorrectly.
These Zenergy ball chairs will delight and engage, turning my classroom environment into one of inspiration and productivity.
The easy-to-clean vinyl cover makes this ball chair low-maintenance in a busy classroom. The movement will help keep my students' minds open, while keeping their body actively engaged, no matter if they are problem-solving, or engaging in academic conversation. I strongly feel that using these ball chairs during centers will keep my students' creativity flowing all day long.
These Zenergy chair balls will provide a lot of movement that not only will help my students sit comfortably, but also helps them concentrate and supports better posture and balance.
The hand sanitizer will help get rid of hand germs and the disinfecting wipes will help get rid of cold and flu viruses that may linger on desks and tables. These items will ensure that my students remain healthy and ready to learn.
