This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
No kid should be hungry when learning. Studies show that students cannot learn if they do not feel safe or worried about food. Instead, our students should be happy to come to school not only because they will feel welcome, but because they will have a safe space and hunger will not be a problem.
The healthy snacks in this project will ensure that there are no students hungry when they are learning in the building.
This will allow them to have a great start for this school year.
Snacks support academic success. Snacks provide important nutrients that our students need between meals to fulfill the demands of their growing bodies and brains.
