My Project
I teach at the best school in the world, that also happens to be situated in the lowest-income zip code in the state of Florida. Many of our students are food-insecure. Because of this, I have found it vital to keep snacks like granola bars and crackers stocked in my classroom.
Despite having socioeconomic disadvantages, my students work hard at everything they do and are deeply motivated to succeed.
They just need some extra fuel!
I'm excited to see my kids every day because they make me laugh, they make me proud, and they make teaching fun. I can count on them to joke, sing, dance with me, and to join me in finding new ways to make learning fun. I need your help to keep our food-insecure students fed and ready to learn.
