Have you ever tried to learn a new concept when you are "hangry"? Trying to focus and learn when your tummy is rumbling can really take the challenge to a whole new level! As humans, our basic needs must be met before we can absorb new information. Our classrooms are busy places where every minute of the day is filled with learning, playing, and socializing. These vital childhood tasks can really work up an appetite! Please help us provide a variety of healthy snack options to keep the "hangry-ness" away!
Brains need good nutrition to grow!
It's a sad reality that good food is expensive. We want to be able to provide GOOD, healthy snack options so that our students can benefit from brain-growing nutrients during the school day. We've tried to compile a snack menu of kid-friendly, low-sugar, low-salt options with vitamins, nutrients, and protein. We hope these snacks can fill tummies and peak interest in a variety of food options, too. Thank you for your support!
