This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I work at a small charter school in Oakland. I have a combination transitional kindergarten/ kindergarten class of busy 4-6 year olds. They are constantly on the move, and hence need frequent snacks to keep their energy and motivation up throughout the day.

I am looking for help providing a variety of snacks, such as crackers, fruit cups, granola bars, and applesauces, to help keep my students fed during the winter and spring.

It falls upon teachers to help meet our students' basic needs, and I could use some help ensuring all my students are nourished and ready to learn.
