My Project
My students often complain of being hungry. So many of them live in poverty that the whole school gets free breakfast and lunch. However, class starts just before 8:00 and some of them don't have lunch until almost 1:00. This is a long stretch go without eating for students who may have limited access to nutritious food at home. Every day, students ask if I have food because they are hungry. It is hard to concentrate on learning the lessons of the day with grumbling bellies. Please help me provide healthy snacks for them so that they can concentrate on learning.
