Healthy Snacks for Healthy Minds III

My Students

My students are always excited and eager to learn new things. Our classroom consists of a diverse group of students with varying disabilities including ADHD, specific learning disabilities, behavior difficulties, and cognitive delays. I have an inquisitive group of students, who are always eager to work with technology.

They attend a Title I school where they all qualify for free breakfast and lunch.

My students and families have been trying their absolute best to continue learning at home, but they need materials to support their learning while developing reading and math skills.

It’s so important we continue to address their needs while they are not in the classroom.

My Project

Many of my students are very picky eaters. They don't always eat everything on the menu for breakfast and/or lunch. My students are often hungry throughout the day because their lunch time is so early. Cereal bars, crackers, and other snacks would be great for my students to have when they need something to snack on when they are hungry.

Your donation would help give students the energy they need to learn and stay active during school.

This project is important because our students have a very long day and need some different healthy snacks to help them stay engaged in learning. My students really love snacks, and they would really appreciate having something to snack on when they are hungry. If we can give them the smallest thing like a snack before or after lunch, they will be able to keep up their energy and learn even more in the exhausting afternoons.
