This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We are gearing up for a new school year and need snacks for our classroom pantry. I work in a low-income community and our students don’t always have the ability to eat, something we often take for granted. I will have twenty-five amazing 4th grade students in my class.

My students need to learn about healthy eating.

The requested healthy snacks and fruit snacks will provide them with nutritional information to help them make better food choices.

Many times students choose not to eat the fruit or vegetable and they go hungry until lunch. The snacks will help my students growing bodies and will also help them focus on learning.
