Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Students have a lot on their plates these days, academically, socially, and personally. Through it all, they still have to navigate their way through adolescence. It can be difficult and at times lonely if the right support system isn't established.
HEALTHY RELATIONSHIPS BEGIN WITH ME is a project that focuses on the importance of self-love, self-respect, and self-worth.
The goal for this project is for students to learn how to embrace imperfections alongside their strengths. Accepting themselves as they are will teach them to set healthy boundaries when developing new friendships and relationships.
The selected items will be used as tools for emotional regulation while our students share experiences, self-reflect, and delve into who they are.
