My Project

My students are slowly adjusting to being in school full time. They are enjoying the COVID restrictions being lifted that provide the opportunity to socialize and play with some classmates at recess. To continue encouraging the development of their social skills they will be making their own products to sell at their own mini craft fair. The craft supplies will be used to level the playing field for families that cannot afford to provide the supplies for their child.

Their social skills are improving but the social emotional learning games will enhance their growth to have healthy minds and happy hearts.

The hands on base ten manipulatives will assist in scaffolding common core standards. To increase their writing skills the "hear myself" phones will foster the revising and editing step of the writing process. Additionally the magnetic binder paper poster will aid in the format of students writing.

Now that COVID restrictions are being lifted and funding is not as readily available my classroom is running low on basic supplies like binder paper, binder folders, pencils and erasers. All of these materials will greatly help fill the gaps in my classroom.
