My Students
I am teaching a kindergarten class that is comprised of students of all capabilities. Many of my students come from families who are new to the country; therefore, they are learning the English language. I also have some students who require special services. My students come from varied backgrounds with different economic needs.
I am excited that my boys and girls are reading and writing.
Many of them are reading at a second-grade level, and I am very proud of them for that. They come to school every day eager to learn.
My Project
I am looking to obtain hand soap, hand sanitizer and children sized masks to keep my students healthy when in school. In my class we wash our hands so often, that soap is a much needed supply. I am asking for 2 cases of soap so that my students can continue this regimen. I am also looking for hand sanitizer which I keep on each table so students can sanitize on the spot, such as in times when they sneeze or cough as well as gloves for me to wear when serving them breakfast and snack. Lastly, kids masks are needed because the students are also dropping their masks on the floors and breaking the strings. I am also providing paper masks to replace these masks so this is something that we use a lot in the class. Please help me get these much needed supplies so I can continue to teach my students in the safest environment as possible.
