This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My district is low income and the student's really appreciate the little things. Securing supplies through "district approved vendors" has been difficult for my leadership and it is often easier to buy things myself.
School Nursing is the bridge for students between school and home.
I can provide the little things that can keep a student at school and learning. My office is the place where students can seek comfort and get some of their basic needs meet. Children that are cared for and feel valued learn better.
