This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
These supplies are for my great kids here at the school. We are in a community that is approximately 87% low-income, so many cannot afford medical care. As the school nurse of 30 + years, I am the closest to healthcare that they get. These items will assist in providing these kids with the best healthcare experience possible. For example, the posters in this project will assist me in showing the students their injuries or how their body works and how to heal properly. Also, the wraps are used for holding and splinting injuries.
