This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

We are a STEM-based charter school in Naples, Florida with 74% of our students receiving free or reduced-price lunches. The families we serve really want what is best for their kids and trust me as their teacher to help make those decisions. The students in my classroom are very loving and caring individuals.

My students are passionate, eccentric, beautiful, intelligent, and all-around amazing. When you look into their eyes, you know that they are eager to consume knowledge. These students appreciate each and every day that they spend in the classroom because they know that they are going to use their minds in the most creative and innovative ways possible.

My Project

In the Second Grade, we take weekly pictures of our stars for the week and hang them in our classroom. We need Instax Mini Instant Film, to accomplish this. The kids get so excited to see their picture on the wall.

With the current COVID -19 situation, we will not be able to utilize our normal flexible seating, so my students need Stretchy Resistance Fidget Bands.

Students will be able to bounce kick & stretch their feet. These work well for all students but students with ADHD, ADD, Autism & Poor Concentration, will help with improving classroom focus ameliorate sensory input.

The reward punch cards will be used for behavior incentive awards in the classroom. Students get 10 punches in their card they can get a treasure box item.

To keep our pencils as from a lot of fingers touching them we need a Stainless Steel Pencil Dispenser. This will help with storage and dispensing pencils one at a time.

To set the tone we need a tropical motivational bulletin board set with a tropical flamingo border. This will provide a nice positive vibe for our classroom.

Because supplies won't be shared this year each of my students will need a large multi-purpose plastic bin to keep supplies separate. This will be very important to stop the spread of germs.

Please help my students start this very uncertain school year off right.
