Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are always eager to learn more about their bodies. The Food Group stickers are for my kindergarten students to create a My Plate meal, with a My Plate worksheet that I give them. It helps them start exploring the different foods that belong in each food group. The food tray manipulatives will help create a fun learning environment for my students in first and second grade, during our Food Group lesson. In groups, they will be able to design healthy meals for a "restaurant" menu.

When learning is fun, we remember more!

The bean bags with food pictures on them and the labeled bag will help me design a relay experience for all of my students (K-5).
