My Project
My students are insightful, witty, innovative, and comical! They remind me daily why I love teaching and continue to teach.
They work with what they have and create the most amazing games and imaginative play through their resources.
They encourage each other and push each other to be their best selves as well as me and other adults in the building.
Living in a neighborhood marred with violence and social issues, they leave it at the door every day ready and excited to begin another day of learning and I want to help expand that.
Our school is located in a food desert and with that means healthy eating is not as accessible as they deserve. We speak with our students about making healthy choices but they don't have the chance to always practice it. With your donation, we can give them a chance to start to learn about healthy eating, playing kindly with each other, and continuing to encourage and support each other.
