Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am putting together a space in our classroom as a designated "Health Station". The cold winter months bring with them germs and viruses that keep our students out of school and feeling uneasy.
With a health station I hope to empower them to do their part in keeping themselves safe and our space clean to avoid unwanted germs.
The materials such as disinfectant wipes and touchless soap and sanitizer dispenser will help them access things without needing a lot of extra adult help. They will easily be able to grab a bandaid or clean a spill quickly so we can resume our learning.
