This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am requesting cleaning wipes and laundry soap so that my students will have the necessary supplies to clean their living spaces and launder their clothes.
During a professional development in the summer, I was given gift cards to a local laundromat chain.
I plan on giving the gift cards to students, as needed, but laundry soap can be expensive, especially when purchased at a laundromat. With the items in the project, I will make laundry supply bags complete with laundry soap, dryer sheets and a container of cleaning wipers for their living spaces.
