Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I absolutely adore my 450 students at my school. I am their school librarian and they see me every day along with their beautiful library. They absolutely love coming into the library to explore but best of all, I allow them to sit however they'd like.
If students wish to read under a chair, under a table, laying on their back, or on their stomach, their wish is my command.
However, with recent financial cuts in our district, it has been difficult to get our library clean and healthy for our students. I am constantly having to clean, dust and sweep. My allergies get the best of me and my students. This in turn makes it hard to give it my all when doing read-alouds or sitting on the carpet with them to do buddy reading.
Please help my students and me enjoy our beautiful library by helping us keep it healthy without having to take time to constantly clean.
We want a robot vacuum for more reading and less cleaning!
