My Project
Adolescent social-emotional health is a big topic currently. The complement to SE health is physical health. I love that my students are increasingly paying more attention to their bodies. I will use these items to make snack bags for students. The fitness equipment will be loaned to students on weekends on a rotating schedule.
The whole child is important to me- head-to-toe, inside-and-out health.
The goal for this project is to encourage healthy eating and more physical activity. My students are special because some of them come from hard places. And I want my classroom to be a soft landing for them.
