I am excited to be joining a new Title I school in Florida this year! We are anticipating approximately 700 students this school year from many different backgrounds and experiences. Staff and students are embarking on a new adventure together!
Family support and school safety are a priority--we need to provide resources to help families do a health check prior to sending their students to school.
My Project
As we begin a new school year it is critical that we do everything we can to make sure all students and staff are safe and ready to learn.
Providing families with thermometers to perform health checks at home before bringing their student to school will help prevent the spread of sickness.
The thermometers purchased will go to families that are unable to secure one on their own. Prevention is key in helping make sure all students and staff are safe. If we are able to provide thermometers at home then we can prevent students coming to school with a temperature.
