Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

All of the items will assist my students in self-regulating their emotions. The majority of my students have a mental health challenges such as anxiety or depression or substance use order diagnosis or both.

My students have complex trauma and come from dysfunctional families.

I provide cognitive behavioral interventions such progressive muscle relaxation, deep breathing, mindfulness, grounding and positive behavioral interventions and supports.

All of the items I am requesting will also be used by my students, who are receiving cognitive behavioral therapy, to supports and compliment their mental health wellness.
