Health and Wellness Space to Support Students in Their Lives

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
These items requested will truly change our kids' lives. Many of them are inundated with obstacles in the world as a high school students and they require helpful moments in their lives to combat these hurdles. Fitness is one way of doing so.
Our student-athletes are bussed in as more than half do not live near the school.
Once they arrive they need a gym on campus where they can release all the stress and pressures of the world. Training will motivate them to be better on their health journeys as well as give them energy for learning.
We have a small misused space on campus that has been forgotten about that we utilize for exercising. Most of the equipment is old, outdated, and simply not enough for large-group training. With these donations, we will entice all students to use the space during lunchtime and work on strengthening their bodies and minds.
We are requesting more barbells and weights as most of them are rusted and we don't have enough for a full workout class.
We have limited space which is why the storage rack is needed. Bumper plates are listed for safety as iron plates can cause injury in a small space with Olympic lifting. The sled will increase speed and performance.
