This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am a teacher in a district in California. We are a school that services a diverse community of students, including students with special needs, English learners, and students of varying socioeconomic status.
It is my responsibility to teach my fifth graders about health and puberty.
The hygiene products I am requesting are vital to the lessons on puberty. These lessons are a golden opportunity for students to learn and ask questions about the changes in their bodies. As I am presenting these lessons I want to be able to give these health products.
