My Students
My students are pretty active and full of personality! Many of them are underprivileged but they do not let that be a barrier to their education. They need reading skills in order to access the curriculum. They would appreciate any help!
My Project
My students use a computer based reading program where they need headsets with a microphone in order to respond to questions and read aloud to improve reading fluency. They use the headsets multiple times a week and they share headsets. Therefore, they get worn out fairly quickly. Students are two to three grade levels below and really need the background skills to improve their reading comprehension. The computer program targets their weaknesses in reading. We hope you can help out our classes! Thanks so much for considering my seventh grade students at Hart Middle School.
