This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students have the capacity to do everyday learning online. They are lower income students who may not necessarily have the funds to spend extra on school materials. With the pandemic, they have learned to adapt to whatever the needs are for the safety of others.

Student need to collaborate but do it through breakout rooms for the safety of their health.

Through this, students are able to communicate and help each other. Many of the students are English Language Learners who utilize their peers to make sure they understand the assignment.

My Project

Headsets are an essential learning tool in the classroom today. Being in breakout rooms and being face to face, students need to be able to collaborate at a safe distance. This means, students need to stay in their seats. The headsets would allow the feedback to be at a minimum and still allow all students to participate in their groups.

The headsets with a microphone students utilize need to be sturdy.

Many of the students who have headphones, do not have the microphone attached. This is a problem since their device's microphone would give feedback.
