Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students come to school every day with a positive attitude and are ready to learn! They deserve the same opportunities and resources as students who are able to come to school with resources from their parents. I want to provide them with material that will help them create their very best work.

These headphones will allow my students to be engaged and focused on their learning.

Throughout the day, students engage in independent tasks and instruction that is fit for their specific needs. By each having their own pair of headphones, they will be able to listen and learn at their own pace. Also, being able to clearly hear will help my second language learners acquire English when they use specific sound and recording features.

My fourth graders also love to listen to books being read to them! This can be chaotic when 31 of them are all listening to a different book at the same time. To have their own headphones, they will be able to find a cozy spot in the room and really hone in on their book!
