Help me give my students headphones to be the most successful learners. These headphones will allow for each student to respond to text and participate in classwork without being distracted by other learners.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
All of my students come to me eager to learn but with little to no means to learn with. I have twelve students who identify as Special Education, several of who struggle mostly with reading and writing. Providing these students with headphones will allow them to be able to participate in class without the distraction of others. These students need the extra support and providing them with headphones will allow for them to speak their responses instead of writing or typing as those are more challenging. My students deserve to be provided with educational supplies that will benefit them, and they are not provided with those necessary materials. Lessons will stretch to cover reading and math, science, and social studies.. students will be given the opportunity to access their material in all classes with the gift of these headphones. They will no longer have to worry about having the necessary materials to be successful but will be given those materials so that they can have the education they so deserve.
