My Project
This project will provide my students with their own class set of new, fully functioning headphones. I teach at a low-income school, and oftentimes my classroom supplies are handed down from other teachers who are willing to part with the materials.
As a special education teacher, my students often exhibit some form of sensory sensitivity.
When it is computer time, some of my students have trouble adjusting to the headphones for a variety of reasons: too heavy, too hard, the plastic covering on their ears, or possibly too tight.
I believe the selected headphones will also be sensory-friendly since they are lightweight and adjustable.
