Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
In the beginning of the year, my students come in ready to learn all the foundational skills needed to become readers!
Reading opens up the world to my kindergartners, and gives them access to informational texts and narratives to enrich their whole lives!
Kindergarten is where students get the fundamentals of reading! Please give my students headphones with mics that they can use during technology time to practice sounding out words, identifying syllables and letter sounds, and reading fluently!
Students can use the headphones to listen to books, read along, and play games that help them practice.
Many of my students are English Learners, and can also use the headphones to access curriculum that will help them with becoming proficient in English!
Literacy is an essential part of my students education, and your support would mean so much!
