This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My third graders are superstars because they want to learn all they can so that they can be successful in school and in life. Despite the challenges and hardships they face, my students are eager to learn and do their best.
My students are growing and learning in a school community that inspires me every day.
We are a community that shows compassion, flexibility, resilience, creativity and integrity. These students are our future, and we want them to have a long successful school experience. Our students come from similar economic backgrounds with a majority of our students receiving free lunch.
My Project
I have been introduced to an online video editing program called WeVideo. We are using this program to help us engage our students with their learning. The headphones will help our students record voiceovers and edit their audio in video projects.
Students will be able to create short video presentations using academic vocabulary words independently.
They will create their own stories incorporating these words.
Headphones with microphones are essential tools in being able to make these projects a success. We've learned that strong study headphones with microphones last longer than the earbud kind. On behalf of the third grade class, thank you for your support to make our wish come true.
