Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Our community is a group of eager learners and hardworking students who need materials to access the reading, writing, and math curriculum. They are a mix of students with diverse needs that are classified with learning disability, speech and language impairment, autism and other health impairments.
The students in this my class may be one to three years behind in reading, writing, and math but are very eager to learn and would love a chance to be given the opportunity to access the curriculum for in school or remote learning.
My Project
Our community needs technology to provide students access to instruction in this remote learning environment and encourage peer collaboration through project based exploration.
My students need these headphones with microphones to support their learning.
Since most students are easily distracted, they need as much encouragement to focus and access clear and precise instructions to capture their full attention and participation.
Your donation will provide headphones to students that need lots of support in their academic learning. It will also further increase their motivation to learn and excitement to participate in whole class, small group and partner interaction.
