This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students face the challenges of poverty on a daily basis. We are located in the southmost region of the United States and live in one of the poorest counties in the country. These students, who wake up every morning wanting to learn despite the difficulties that they face at home, are who inspired and motivated me to post a project on DonorsChoose. I am honored and blessed to serve them and to be part of their lives. This is why reaching out to you is the least I can do to help them improve and be able to reach and experience the same opportunities that others have in our country.

My students manage to always have a smile and care for each other as much as possible every single day.

My Project

These headphones will improve my students literacy, math, and technological learning in amazing ways.

On a daily basis they are exposed to ipads or desktop computers where they are expected to interact with the devices.

When there are 22 students working at the same time without headphones it may become a little bit noisy and distracting.

Through this project I will be able to provide a more appropriate and appealing learning environment for them where their own device is the only one they can hear. Help me fund this project!
