This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students attend a Title 1 school. My third graders are creative, curious, and compassionate children. They come to school everyday eager to learn and help one another.

They push themselves out of their comfort zone and motivate each other to do the best work possible.

The kids in my class love technology! We have many wonderful programs to use but without headphones, the room can get a little bit hectic and loud. With all of my students using headphones, the room would be a lot calmer and I could be able to meet with my small groups while my other students are working on their computer assignments

My Project

Headphones will help my students focus and stay engaged while working on the computer. It will also eliminate the excessive chatting that happens when students are working on computers. Headphone will promote independent work and keep my students on task.

My students have a computer math program and a reading program that they use on a daily basis, which requires concentration.

There are videos that are connected with the assignments and I know students get distracted and are not always focused on the task. With all of my students using their computers with headphones, students will be on task and will be able to focus on what they need to do.
