My Students
The school I teach in strives to make all students feel welcome in a warm and positive learning environment. My students attend a Title 1 school and many of them require and extra boost in order to have a successful education. I believe that students should be able to feel safe and comfortable at school. My goal is to create a warm, comfortable, and inviting atmosphere for all of my students. I would like to be able to provide a set of headphones for each of my students to benefit their online learning.
My Project
The students in my classroom use headphones on a daily basis to work on our reading and math programs. These programs are very beneficial in helping to fill in any educational gaps. Many of the student did not have headphones sent at the beginning of the year so I provided a cheap pair. We are more that half way through the year and many of them are no longer working. I would also like to provide the opportunity for a standing desk to my students. We have two recesses a day and many of my 5th graders become restless during work time.
