Headphones To Be Used For New Chromebooks!

My Students

Thank you, thank you to everyone that helped fund Chromebooks for my students. We appreciate it more than you know! I'm creating a second project to raise funds for headphones for the newly purchased Chromebooks.

My students are 3rd graders from Brooklyn, NY in a specialized program which provides them with learning opportunities in an 8:1:1 setting.

All of my learners are students who are on the Autism Spectrum as well. My students are curious, investigative, and ambitious learners and one of my goals as an educator is to provide them with the most hands-on and engaging learning opportunities possible. This includes access to technology-based learning opportunities. My students are visual and tactile learners and making sure they are actively engaged in learning opportunities and have access to the technology to do so is a priority!

My Project

Hi everyone! I'm a 3rd Grade classroom teacher working in Brooklyn in an 8:1:1 specialized program for students on the Autism Spectrum.

My students are in need of headphones to be used with a class set of headphones.

These Chromebooks will be used across subject areas to support learning. The Chromebooks will give my students access to an online Library System of books as well as math games that promote higher level critical thinking skills.

The computers will be an amazing addition to my classroom, however listening comprehension texts and math games with noise can cause classroom distractions and sensory issues. The headphones will help students utilize these programs in a way that respects other students' sensory needs. Any support is appreciated!
