Headphones That Last: Supporting Learning for Every Student, All Year
Help me give my students headphones that will last all year! Whether it is a student that starts with us at the beginning or one that joins our school mid year- they will all have access to technology!
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

Project Description:
Our school is a place of constant transition.
With a high student mobility rate, new faces join our classrooms throughout the year. In order to give each student an equal opportunity to succeed, we rely heavily on technology-based learning tools—including educational apps, reading programs, and language support software.
However, one thing we consistently run out of? Headphones.
Frequent use, limited resources, and wear-and-tear mean headphones often break before the school year ends. This creates a learning gap—especially for students who rely on audio to support reading comprehension, language acquisition, or focus in noisy environments.
That’s why we’re requesting a classroom set of durable, over-ear headphones—models designed to last the entire school year. These will allow every student, new or returning, to fully engage in their lessons from day one to the last day of school.
