Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The students will use their computers to watch short videos for their assignments. They will also use headphones when they watch videos on their breaks. The students also listen to music when they are doing their assignments. It helps them stay focused.
The students recently received whiteboards.
However, they have no whiteboard erasers to erase the their boards. I will also use the erasers to erase the large which whiteboard that I use during pull-out social studies with the middle schoolers.
The highlighters will be used when the students take notes. I will have the students highlight words that they do not know and then define them. I will also show students how to highlight important information in their notes.
This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
