This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As we continue teaching during the pandemic, my students have been given their own personal Chromebook to use in class and at home. Many of these Chromebooks are several years old and with the back and forth usage for the 2nd year in a row, many are breaking down. Usually, the first thing to stop working is the normal headphone jack; therefore, my students need headphones that plug into the USB drive. Students use their Chromebooks every day in class for interventions and while I pull small groups. It is very distracting to the rest of the class when the students can't use their headphones. The school has provided some, but with everyday use, those are breaking down as well. I need an additional supply so that all my students can continue using their Chromebooks!
