This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students love to research, and they especially love watching videos that help with their research. It can be very distracting hearing other people's videos when they want to watch their own.
My students are from Southeast San Diego.
My school is a 100% free breakfast and lunch school because it is 100% below poverty. My students love to learn and especially love to use the technology we are so blessed to receive due to a technology grant. My school is a science and research magnet school so we do a lot of research and watch a lot of "Bill Nye the science guy" videos.
My Project
My students will better be able to concentrate in a quiet researching environment using the headphones that we will receive. There will be less interruptions and more work being done. We can use what the Internet offers in the way of videos to help us with our research.
My students will learn more in less time and with less interruptions and distractions.
They will be so thankful of the donation and they will know that there are people out there that care about them and their education that don't even know them.
