This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Every single one of my 90 7th-grade students is a unique individual with different interests, strengths, and paces for learning. If our classroom has access to a class set of headphones my students will have more opportunities for individualized instruction. Students will be able to interact with personalized lessons that align with their interests and strengths during our class rotations. This will allow me to keep students engaged in learning while I provide small-group instruction. Having headphones will also provide access to multiple forms of media such as videos, podcasts, and other auditory and visual resources to support different styles of learning and interests.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
