Help me give my students missing supplies from our social studies classrooms including headphones, highlighters, and a paper cutter.

My Project

With ever-shrinking department budgets, I’m asking for money to buy an additional class set of headphones with extras to replace broken ones for the social studies department at my school. I’m also asking for highlighters and a paper cutter.

Many assessments and classroom lessons require headphones and not all students have their own.

This resource will allow all students access to a necessary supply without bringing attention to those who don’t have their own.

Highlighters are needed when annotating text and using a color-coding system when writing to support claims. Students can show their understanding of claims, evidence, and reasoning by highlighting their work, allowing the teacher to see if students understand the difference between these different types of thinking.
