Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
One great thing about reading is how engaging stories can be. Students are able to be transported to another world while gaining so much knowledge about ours. One way to increase interest along with reading is listening to stories. Online platforms are ripe with many options and can help students with subject areas like comprehension.
Listening to books allows students to hear voice inflection for fluency, character and setting and problem and solutions to just name a few, even if they are still struggling to read.
This project will bring so much joy to my students. Thank you for reading!
