My classroom is full of students who are eager to learn. Our school is very diverse over 40% of our students speak English as a second language. There are 14 different languages represented at the school. My school is a Title one urban school. My students are warm, caring, and always willing to help one another out.
Curious, enthusiastic, and creative; my students are eager to immerse themselves in any kind of challenge.
My students have diverse learning styles and needs. Technology is one of the ways we use to meet our needs. My students use technology in a variety of ways they create, solve problems, learn english, and do research.
My Project
Headphones will allow my students to be independent learners. Many students cannot read grade level material in english. They can gain access by listening to materials read aloud. Listening to print also improves students literacy skills. We are fortunate to have access to iPads.
My students need quality headphones to differentiate their learning and meet their needs.
With headphones, students can use the iPads to listen to books. They will be able to access our online curriculum for Math, Science, and Social Studies. These headphones will also allow me to individualize their learning by assigning online lessons. The headphones will allow the rest of the class to stay focused on what they are working without the noise from the iPads.
