My Students
I work in West Philadelphia where the families have very limited resources to help support their children's literacy needs. After a year of not being in the building, my kids are so excited to jump back into learning but need some basic resources.
These kids need the essentials.
These students need everything from folders to pencils. Setting up a classroom in April is weird, but we can’t wait to get the ball rolling!
The students I teach are excited to learn and happy to be a part of our school community. However, materials and supplies are almost non-existent and need to be purchased by the teachers. Students here love to read and need all the support they can get.
My Project
Headphones will make a great impact on the students learning. These things get beat up quickly, but are essential to our classroom and our little ones really need them for their laptops while they are doing their literacy and math work.
It's important there headphones are strong and durable.
They need to last us throughout the year. We hang them up and keep them organized in our room so we know exactly which ones belong to whom. We would greatly appreciate your support with this project.
