it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are a group of curious kindergarteners in an urban neighborhood in Southern California. For most of my transitional kindergarten students, this will be their first year in school. This school year will be filled with many firsts for my students: first day of school, first trip to the school library, first recess and first lunch. They will learn many things during this most crucial start to their educational journeys. My school is a Title I school located in a working-class neighborhood. All of my students receive free breakfast and lunch.
My Project
These headphones will help my student be heard as well as to listen better during remote learning. It is difficult to hear the students at times because currently many do not have headphones at home. There is lots of background noise and so students find it difficult to keep hear the virtual lesson and stay focused. These headphones would help to minimize outside noise and in doing so increase student learning. They also enable myself and the rest of the class due to the microphone that it also has. These headphones will make a big difference especially for our reading lessons in which hearing sounds clearly is so important.
